Sevilla es el destino turístico que los viajeros de todo el mundo deben conocer en 2018, justo para el Año Murillo. Lo dice la prestigiosa editorial Lonely Planet, que cada año elabora un ranking de los viajes más apetecibles a través de su publicación Best in Travel. Los periodistas, los expertos en turismo y el público han hablado: ¡no te puedes perder Sevilla!

Seville is a city you cannot miss!

According to Lonely Planet, Sevilla is the tourist destination all travellers should discover in 2018, just in time for the “Año Murillo”. Each year this prestigious editorial publishes Best in Travel, a ranking of the top vacations to take in the following year.

Lonely Planet announced its anticipated ranking at an event in the Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes. A fusion of electronic and Baroque music sounded as the authorities of Seville announced detailed the programming of the “Año Murillo”. Organizations from Seville’s tourism sector were also invited to the event and attended a networking event at Bar 17 before the announcement.

Now tourists know- the place to be in 2018 is Seville. However, the other options topping the list aren’t so bad either. Here are the other cities that made the cut: Detroit (USA), Canberra (Australia), Hamburg (Germany), and Kaohsiung (Taiwan).

Lonely Planet desveló su esperado ranking en el transcurso de un acto en la Plaza de la Virgen de los Reyes. Sonaba música barroca mezclada con electrónica, con una estrafalaria deejay a los platos mientras las autoridades sevillanas iban ofreciendo detalles sobre la programación del Año Murillo. También estuvo invitado el sector turístico de la ciudad, que participó en un networking en el Bar 17 previo al gran anuncio.

Ahora los viajeros lo tienen claro, tienen que venir a Sevilla en 2018, aunque tampoco está de mal que se asomen por Detroit (EE UU), Canberra (Australia), Hamburgo (Alemania) y Kaohsiung (Taiwán), que han ocupado el top 5 de la publicación.
