Holy Week in Seville offers a lot of memorable moments through the 59 brotherhoods that are paraded between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. These are some of them, a sample very, very small of all that you can live these days in the city.
Palm Sunday
– La Hiniesta in calle Francos.
– La Estrella as it departs in calle San Jacinto and at El Postigo at night.
Holy Monday
– La Vera Cruz at El Salvador.
– El Museo at Plaza del Museo as it returns to the church.
Holy Tuesday
– Los Estudiantes at El Postigo and at Plaza del Triunfo.
– La Candelaria in the Jardines de Murillo.
– Santa Cruz as it enters the church.
Holy Wednesday
– Cristo de Burgos at Plaza del Pan.
Holy Thursday
– Los Negritos at Plaza de Pilatos.
Good Friday (Madrugá)
– El Silencio at El Salvador.
– El Gran Poder around El Postigo and at Plaza del Museo.
– La Macarena at la Resolana.
– La Esperanza de Triana around Plaza del Altozano and as it returns in calle Pureza.
